How to compress images

How it works
JPGs are re-encoded with MozJPEG, which makes smaller files than most cameras and apps at the same visual quality. PNGs are optimized without changing a single pixel. If an image can't get any smaller, you get the original back instead of a bigger file.
Which level should I choose?
“Recommended” is hard to tell apart from the original for most photos. “Strong” saves more space and suits thumbnails and previews. Switching to WebP usually saves the most.
