Each request uses at least 1 credit. The exact cost is shown before anything runs.

Are the tools really free?: Yes. Every tool that runs in your browser (trimming, compressing, converting, subtitles, background removal and the rest) is free, with no signup, no watermark and no daily limit. Your files never leave your device.
What are credits for?: Only for AI features that run on our servers, because those cost us money each time: AI dubbing, translating into languages other than English, text to speech and the vocal remover.
Do I need an email or password?: No. Your account is a 16-digit access key that's created the first time you use a credit-based feature. Add a recovery email if you want to be able to get a new key when you lose yours.
Can I cancel Pro?: Yes, at any time from the billing page on your account. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I get a refund?: Yes. Within 14 days, any purchase whose credits you haven't used is refunded in full, and if a feature fails on our side, its credits come back automatically. See the refund policy.
Who handles payments and tax?: Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which also handles sales tax and VAT and issues your invoices. We never see your card details.
