HEIC to JPG Converter
iPhones save photos as HEIC, which many apps, websites and Windows PCs can't open. Convert them to JPG, which works everywhere, in a few seconds. Your photos are converted on your own device and never uploaded.
How to convert HEIC to JPG
- 1Click “Choose images” or drag your HEIC photos onto the page. You can add up to 50.
- 2Keep JPG (or pick PNG) and the quality.
- 3Click “Convert” and download each photo, or all of them as a ZIP.
Quality
The default of 90 looks the same as the original to the eye while keeping files reasonably small. Use 100 for the highest quality, or lower values for smaller files.
Photos come out the right way up
The rotation saved by your phone is applied, so portrait photos stay portrait.
Private by design
Photos are converted in your browser and never uploaded. The converted JPG also doesn't carry over hidden photo data such as GPS location.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. It's free with no signup and no watermark.
- Are my photos uploaded?
- No. They're converted on your own device.
- How many photos can I convert at once?
- Up to 50 at a time. Download them one by one or all together as a ZIP.
- What is a HEIC file?
- HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is the format iPhones use by default. It's smaller than JPG, but many apps and computers can't open it.
- Can I stop my iPhone from saving HEIC?
- Yes. In Settings → Camera → Formats, choose “Most Compatible”. New photos will be saved as JPG.
- Why does the first conversion take a moment?
- Most browsers can't read HEIC, so a HEIC decoder is downloaded the first time.
