Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of Mediawand, operated by [Company name] (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

Mediawand offers online tools for video, audio and photos. Most tools are free and run in your browser. Some features use credits, which come with paid plans or credit packs, and a small free monthly allowance.

Your content

You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for having the rights to use them, including any music, video or images owned by others. Our privacy policy explains how files are handled.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mediawand to:

• infringe copyright or other rights, or download or remove protection from content you don't have rights to;
• impersonate anyone, create deepfakes or misleading content about real people, or commit fraud;
• create or share illegal, sexual, hateful or harassing content;
• overload, attack, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or get around usage limits;
• break any law that applies to you.

We may suspend access keys that break these rules.

Access keys

Your access key works like a password: anyone with it can use your credits and plan. Keep it safe. If you lose it and haven't added an email address, we can't recover it.

Plans, credits and payments

• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which also handles taxes, invoices and refunds. Their terms apply to the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Monthly plan credits expire at the end of each billing period. Purchased credit packs expire 12 months after purchase.
• Credits have no cash value. Refunds follow our refund policy: a purchase whose credits are unused can be refunded within 14 days, and if a feature fails because of an error on our side, the credits used are returned automatically.
• We may change prices with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work hard to make the tools reliable, but we don't guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose (for example, that a passport photo will be accepted). Keep copies of your original files.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. You may stop using the service at any time. We may stop offering features or the service with reasonable notice where possible.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [country/state], and disputes go to the courts of [city], unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
