Audio Tag Editor (MP3, M4A, FLAC)
Fix how a song shows up in your music app: title, artist, album, track number, year, genre, comment and cover art. Only the tags change; the sound is copied untouched.
How to edit audio tags
- 1Click “Choose audio file” or drag an MP3, M4A, FLAC or OGG file onto the page.
- 2Edit the fields. Empty fields are removed from the file.
- 3Add, replace or remove the cover art.
- 4Click “Save tags” and download the updated file.
No quality loss
The audio data is copied exactly as it is. Only the tag section of the file is rewritten, so editing tags never changes how the song sounds.
Cover art
Use a square JPG or PNG. 600 × 600 to 1400 × 1400 pixels shows sharply in music apps without making the file much bigger.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no signup.
- Is my music uploaded?
- No. Tags are read and written in your browser.
- Can I edit WAV files?

- Can I edit many files at once?
- One file at a time for now.
