Most email services refuse attachments over 20–25 MB. Compress your video to fit and send it as a normal attachment instead of a cloud link.
How to compress a video for email
- 1Click “Choose video” or drag your video onto the page.
- 220 MB is already selected, which fits Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo Mail.
- 3Click “Compress to 20 MB”, download it and attach it to your email.
Why 20 MB and not 25?
Gmail and Yahoo allow 25 MB and Outlook 20 MB, but attachments grow by about a third when they're encoded for email. 20 MB leaves room for that.
Corporate mail
Work email servers often have lower limits, such as 10 MB. Pick 10 MB if your message bounces.
