Crop & Resize Video for Reels, Shorts and TikTok
Reshape a video for the platform you're posting to: vertical 9:16 for Reels, Shorts and TikTok, square 1:1 or 4:5 for feed posts, or widescreen 16:9 for YouTube. Crop the center to fill the frame, or fit the whole video with black bars.
How to crop a video
- 1Click “Choose video” or drag a video onto the page.
- 2Pick the shape, then choose “Crop to fill” or “Fit with black bars”.
- 3Click the button and download your reshaped video.
Crop or fit?
“Crop to fill” keeps the center of the picture and trims the sides (or top and bottom), so the video fills the whole screen. “Fit with black bars” keeps everything in view and adds bars where the shape doesn't match.
Size
“Original” uses as many of the original pixels as possible. “Up to 1080p” and “Up to 720p” shrink larger videos for smaller files. Videos are never enlarged, because that only adds blur.
