CSV Viewer
Look inside a CSV file without opening a spreadsheet. The separator is detected automatically, and you can sort by any column and filter rows as you type.
How to view a CSV file
- 1Open a .csv file or paste CSV text.
- 2Click a column name to sort by it; click again to reverse.
- 3Type in the filter box to show only matching rows.
Any separator
Commas, semicolons (common in European exports) and tabs are all detected automatically, and quoted values with commas or line breaks inside are read correctly.
Smart sorting
Columns of numbers sort by value, so 10 comes after 9, and text sorts alphabetically, ignoring case.
Big files
Rows are shown 200 at a time, so files with tens of thousands of rows stay fast to scroll and filter.
Frequently asked questions
- Is my file uploaded?
- No. The file is read in your browser and never leaves your device.
- Can I edit the data?
- Not in the table. To change data, convert it with CSV to JSON or edit the text above the table.
