How to count the days between two dates
- 1Pick the start date and the end date.

Including the end date
From 1 to 10 March is 9 days if you count the nights in between, or 10 days if both the first and the last day count, as for a hotel stay versus a leave application. The toggle switches between the two.
Weekdays
The weekday count includes Monday to Friday and leaves out Saturdays and Sundays. Public holidays differ by country and aren't subtracted.
Any order
If the end date comes before the start date, the dates are swapped and the difference is still shown.
Frequently asked questions
- Does it handle leap years?
- Yes. Every calendar day, including 29 February, is counted exactly.
- Are holidays excluded from working days?
- No, only weekends. Subtract your public holidays from the weekday count.
- Is anything saved?
- No. Everything is calculated in your browser.
