M4A to MP3 Converter

How to convert M4A to MP3

Protected files
Old iTunes purchases with copy protection (.m4p) can't be converted. Current Apple Music downloads are protected too. Unprotected M4A files work fine.
Quality
M4A (AAC) is a little more efficient than MP3, so choose an MP3 bitrate at least as high as the original, for example 192 kbps for a 128 kbps M4A.
