How to record your screen
- 1Choose whether to record your microphone and the tab or system sound.
- 2Click “Start recording” and pick a screen, window or tab to share.
- 3Click “Stop recording” (or the browser's “Stop sharing”) and download the video.
Sound
Your microphone works in every supported browser. Recording the sound of a tab (or the whole system on Windows) depends on the browser: Chrome and Edge support it; tick “Share audio” in the share window.
File format
Recordings are saved as MP4 or WebM, depending on your browser. If you get a WebM, click “Convert to MP4” for a file that plays everywhere.
Private by design
The recording is made and stored only in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
