Video Frame Extractor

Grab a still from any video at its full resolution, sharper than a screenshot of the player. Pause on the moment you want and save it, or pull out a frame every few seconds at once.

How to save a frame from a video

  1. 1Click “Choose video” or drag a video onto the page.
  2. 2Play or scrub to the moment you want and pause.
  3. 3Pick PNG or JPG and click “Save this frame”. Repeat for as many frames as you like.
  4. 4To get many at once, choose an interval and click “Extract frames as ZIP”.

Better than a screenshot

Frames are read straight from the video file at its original size, so a 4K video gives a 3840 × 2160 image, without player controls or screen scaling.

PNG or JPG?

PNG is lossless and best for editing or text on screen. JPG files are much smaller and fine for sharing photos.
