Compress PDF to 100 KB

100 KB is one of the tightest limits a form can set, and it suits one or two pages at most. This tool tries to keep the text first, then lowers the resolution only as far as it has to.

How to compress a PDF to 100 KB

  1. 1Choose your PDF.
  2. 2100 KB is already selected. Pick another size if your form asks for one.
  3. 3Click “Compress PDF”, check the new size, and download the file.

What fits in 100 KB

A one-page scan usually fits and stays readable. A long document usually doesn't, because 100 KB has to cover every page. If the form only needs certain pages, keep those with Extract PDF Pages first.

Scans and phone photos

Scan in black and white if the form allows it, in good light, and crop away the margins. Color and shadows take up far more space than the text.

Frequently asked questions

It won't go under 100 KB. What now?
The file probably has too many pages for that size. Remove the pages you don't need, or split it and upload the parts separately if the form allows that.
Can I still select the text?
If the file fits without changing the pages, yes, and the result tells you so. If pages had to become images, the text can't be selected or searched.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It's compressed in your browser and never reaches our servers.
