Crop PDF Pages
Cut away wide white margins, scanner borders or headers you don't want. Set how much to trim from each edge, in millimeters, and every page is cropped the same way.
How to crop a PDF
- 1Choose the PDF.
- 2Set how many millimeters to trim from the top, bottom, left and right.
- 3Click “Crop PDF” and download the cropped file.
Better on small screens
Trimming margins makes the text bigger when the page is fitted to a phone or e-reader screen. 10–15 mm per side suits most books and papers.
Hidden, not deleted
Cropping changes the visible area of each page; what's outside it is hidden, not erased. Don't rely on cropping to remove sensitive information.
Measured as you see the page
The top is the top of the page as it's displayed, even if the page is stored sideways.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes. There's no signup, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.
- Are my PDFs uploaded?
- No. The PDF is processed in your browser, on your own device, and never leaves it.
- Does cropping reduce quality?
- No. Nothing is re-drawn; only the page area changes.
- Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
- Yes. You're asked for the password when you open the file; it's only used on your device to read the PDF.
