IBPS Photo Size: 200×230 Pixels, 20 to 50 KB

IBPS recruitment forms ask for a JPG photo of 20 to 50 KB, with 200×230 pixels preferred. This tool crops your photo to that shape and finds the sharpest version under 45 KB.

How to make an IBPS photo

  1. 1Take a photo facing the camera against a plain, light background.
  2. 2Choose it here. 45 KB is already selected.
  3. 3Click “Compress to 45 KB”, then check the face is clear and download the JPG.

The size rules

Format JPG, 20 to 50 KB, and 200×230 pixels preferred. A file under 20 KB can be rejected just like one over 50 KB, so this tool warns you if yours comes out too small.

Keep your head in the middle

The photo is cropped from the center to fit the shape. If your head sits to one side, cut the picture around it with Crop Image first, then choose the cropped copy here.

Check your notification

These sizes come from recent IBPS documents, and each recruitment has its own rules. Follow the notification for your exam, along with any rules for a live photo or thumb impression, if they differ from this page.

Frequently asked questions

Why 45 KB and not 50?
It leaves a small margin under the limit, and at this pixel size it won't cost you any visible quality.
Does this guarantee acceptance?
No. It gets the size right, but the photo itself must also meet the notification's rules.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It's processed in your browser and stays on your device.
