Free English translation
Translating into English happens entirely in your browser with the Whisper speech model, so it's free and your video never leaves your device.
Other languages
For other languages, only the text of the transcript is sent to our servers, where an AI language model translates it. This uses 1 credit per minute of video; free accounts get 20 credits a month.
Subtitle files or captions in the picture
Download SRT or VTT files for YouTube and video players, or add the subtitles to the picture so they show on every app.

- No. Speech recognition runs on your device. For languages other than English, only the transcript text is sent to our servers to be translated.

- Can I fix mistakes?
- Yes. Every translated line can be edited before you download or add the subtitles.
