Compare Two Images
See exactly what changed between two versions of an image: a design revision, an edited photo or a website screenshot. Slide between them, put them side by side, or highlight every difference.
How to compare two images
- 1Choose the first and the second image.
- 2Switch between the slider, side-by-side and differences views.
- 3Download the comparison if you need it.
Differences, counted
The differences view fades the first image to gray and paints every changed pixel red, and tells you what share of pixels differ. Raise the threshold to ignore tiny changes like compression noise.
Before and after
Drag the slider across the image to reveal one version over the other, the classic way to show an edit.
Different sizes
Images are compared at the first image's size; if the second is a different size, it's stretched to match, and you're told.
Frequently asked questions
- Is it free?
- Yes, with no signup and no watermark of ours.
- Are my images uploaded?
- No. Everything is drawn in your browser, and your images never leave your device.
- Why are differences shown where I see none?
- Re-saved JPGs change pixels slightly. Raise “Ignore changes below” to filter that out.
