Remove EXIF Data from Photos
Share photos without giving away where you live or what device you use. Every image is saved again with just its pixels: no location, no camera, no dates, no editing history.
How to remove EXIF data
- 1Choose one or more photos.
- 2Click Remove metadata.
- 3Download the cleaned photos, as a ZIP for a batch.
Everything goes
EXIF, GPS, IPTC and XMP metadata and embedded thumbnails are all left out, since only the image itself is written into the new file.
Still the right way up
Phones store some photos sideways with a note to turn them. The turn is applied to the pixels first, so cleaned photos still display correctly.
Quality
JPGs are saved again at quality 95, which looks the same as the original. PNGs stay lossless.
